Buying Used Cars from UK Car Auction for Export

2-    Contact Us:

3-    Sign-up for our Services:

After the vehicle selection and an initial conversation between us, you sign-up for our services.

Our “Auction Buying” service fee for non-trade customers is £1250 per vehicle, which covers the following:

• Pre-auction vehicle inspection at one of vendor’s location (up to 50 miles from London)
• Vehicle’s condition, history and documents verification (including auction grading report and mechanical report)
• One auction attendance at and collection from vendor
• Export documentation and other export administrative work
• Shipment arrangement (excluding the shipping & transportation costs)
• Vehicle transportation arrangements to the Southampton port
• Secure (in person) container loading
• After export documentation service

4-   Vehicle Payment:

To attend an auction on the client’s behalf, the “final auction bid amount” must be confirmed by you and funds must be cleared into our bank account, covering the final bid amount and auction house fee. These monies will be credited back to you if action cannot be won on the day.

(Please be aware, that under no circumstances we will bid any higher than your allocated final bid amount for any specific car. So even if we are going to lose the action just for £5, we will not bid a penny more than your allocated bid amount. Hence, make sure to set the correct limit at the beginning)

Please Note: Sometimes buyers want to pay directly to the vendor. In such case, we would not be able to issue an invoice for the vehicle.

5-    Shipment & Quick Delivery:

On a successful auction end, we will arrange the vehicle collection and quick shipment.

We will then arrange a secure container or RoRo loading (as per your recommendation).

All the necessary documents will then be produced and dispatched via express courier. The documents would be available within 5-7 days for you to prepare the customs clearing process.

We always do our best to arrange the next possible vessel for the shipment. We also make sure that the export customs clearance has been done promptly with accurate paperwork.

Our staffs remain on the port for the safe & scratch-free loading of the vehicles. Before the shipment, the vehicles are also cleaned & checked for shipment safety to hideaway/secure any valuables inside the cabin.

6-    Vehicle Collection:

Please contact a local clearing agent to arrange collection of your vehicles or plants. In order to speed up the process, the clearing agent could be nominated prior to the shipment to receive the necessary documents directly from us.

In the case of 1st-time import, we can refer to some reliable clearing agents in different countries from our regular customer’s reference. However, the customs duties etc will have to be paid in many countries on the arrival of the vehicles.
